Brisbane is a beautiful, scenic city with a positive and peaceful atmosphere, a wonderful culture and a booming coffee & tea/foodie scene.

Even when I come back home, I’m reminded of the fresh mountain air as I see Mt. Hood in the distance.

While it is a busy tourist and commercial city, there are still small pockets of natural areas that are great to enjoy (and photograph) like Batiquitos Lagoon and of course the Pacific Ocean.

No matter how you feel – tired, hot, humid, sweaty or cold, a cup of tea is always offered to refresh and rejuvenate you and to prepare you for the next part of the trail.

Zambales in the Philippines has everything an adventurer could look for: Islands, hidden Coves, beaches, mountains and even a Volcano.

Each district has its own character but overall they share the same sense of epic scale.

Despite being the second largest city in California, San Diego still retains its charm with its friendly residents and easy city layout.

With any dream seeming possible and forthcoming and traditional mindsets always nearby, it is a stimulating yet confusing bipolar city stuck in between modernity and tradition
