Today we head back to Singapore South East Asia II as Teegongborpi takes us for a look around this fantastic city.
Singapore, previously a small malay fishing village and now one of the world’s most prosperous nations. Coincidentally, Singapore is also my birthplace.
While it might not seem much on paper, this small country turns out to be an urban photographer’s haven, having a mix of both modern and classic architectural designs.
Weather plays a huge role in the country’s appeal to tourists and I’ve always told my friends from other countries that in Singapore you get a mix of sorching solar torture, blistering thunderstorms and anything in between. Oh 90% of the time, it’s warm and humid. That being said, there are days in which the weather is perfect! You just have to be lucky.
Now I enjoy the daytime but night is when things really come alive. You can find lights everywhere, the city’s a whole different animal and that’s my favourite time to shoot although it can be challenging.
A huge part of photography is about location. Where’s my fav location? Not a clue! I shoot different styles and each part of Singapore allows me to shoot in different ways, so it’s really hard for me to pick just one location, I hope you enjoy my pictures of the place I call home.
What is your favourite place to enjoy a cup of tea? #teawithaview
I’m extremely basic, Starbucks or any cafe alike will do for me. If not, somewhere with a bench where I can sit down, relax and scroll through Instagram “travelling” to places, getting inspired, while drinking a lovely cup of tea.
