For today’s post we head to the English countryside as dan_scape shows us aroundThe Lake District United Kingdom.
The Lake District is the most beautiful area in England (to me anyway). There is the drama of being surround by high mountains at every turn, seeing the light shift around the familiar outlines of the hills and valleys. Picturesque lakes sit in the valleys beneath the mountains, glistening in the sunshine and brooding on those misty and wet days. Traditional English countryside and farmland add a timeless feeling to the landscape, seeing the dry stone walls, sheep and tracks that give life to the land. Finally there are cosy towns and villages with plenty of warm pubs and cafes to shelter from the English weather.
I have been visiting this area since I was 5 years old and it always feels like a second home to me yet with new surprises on each visit that make we want to return time and again to summit the hills and mountains.

To be honest being on top of any mountain in the Lake District with a flask and cup of tea and the views across the hills, however if I had to choose just one mountain it would be Grasmoor which has 360 degree views to all my favourite places.
